Entrepreneurial training and vocational
development involves much more than simply transferring
technical knowledge. Because entrepreneurship is
essentially, made up of values and attitudes, training in
this field must consist of developing self-management and
relying on personal abilities and skills.
Entrepreneurship and SME Training at Université Laval
Within the
framework of the
Business Administration programs, the
Centre has developed a course in entrepreneurship and small
businesses. This course includes certain classes that can be
followed in class or at-a-distance. For more information,
please consult the

Training and Certification Program
for Small Business Counsellors
Since January of 2003, the Centre offers a
program dedicated to mediators (advisors, consultants) that
work in business start-up. This high-quality training meets
international standards and allows workers to test their
skills, both for the trainer and the trainee.
For more information, please consult the
Programme
international pour la formation et l'accréditation des

The Centre has developed three televised courses that are
directly taken from the Bachelor of
Business
Administration undergraduate degree. They
focus
specifically on
the concentration of entrepreneurship at the
management level. Those
courses are only given in French:
The Centre has
also created three new courses for the
diplôme de 2e cycle en
entrepreneuriat technologique
(2nd cycle graduate degree in entrepreneurship
technology). These new courses were initiated in the fall of
1996. The Science of Administration faculty and the
Sciences and Engineering faculty, in collaboration with
Entrepreneuriat Laval and the Director of Continuing
Education introduced these courses. These classes also
contribute to 1st and 2nd cycle micro-programs in
Entrepreneuriat et PME (Entrepreneurship and Small
businesses):
Please note that
these courses are only given in French |
