Description
The effective management of people from other countries and cultures represents one of the most difficult tasks of multinational management (Dolan et al. : La gestion des ressources humaines, 2002, ERPI). That is why this course aims to provide human resource professionals, and indeed anyone in a management position, a conceptual framework to enable action and mobilization of coping skills when problems arise due to conflict among employees from diverse cultures.

This course is the English version of GIE-3100 Gestion des ressources humaines en contexte interculturel. Only one of the two courses will be recognized in the program. The student is allowed to take assignments and exams in French. This course is offered in in-person delivery mode where classes are offered in the physical presence of the student and teacher, according to a pre-determined schedule. On-campus presence is required. Classes are not recorded. If proctored exams are planned for this course, they will take place on campus only and may be held at times other than the scheduled class times, including evenings and weekends.
