Description
The course aims to bring students to understand the fundamental concepts and models of analysis in the field of international strategic management from a manager's perspective. The course focuses on both of theoretical understanding and practical implementation of international business practices. Students will develop the knowledge, skills and sensibilities inherent in the practice of general management in an international context. They will also develop capabilities to integrate the knowledge acquired in the functional areas of management such as finance, marketing, human resources, production, information system and accounting.

This course is the English version of GIE-6084 Stratégie de l'entreprise internationale. Only one of the two courses will be recognized in the program. The student is allowed to take assignments and exams in French. This course, given in hybrid delivery mode, combines varying proportions of classes offered in the physical presence of the student and teacher and synchronous or asynchronous online classes, according to a predetermined schedule. In-person classes are not recorded. Where synchronous online courses take place, the recording procedures are indicated in the course outline. If proctored exams are planned for this course, they will take place on campus only and may be held at times other than the scheduled class times, including evenings and weekends.
