Description
This course introduces the student to techniques facilitating better management of a company's supply, production and distribution functions. Students will learn how to choose, from among the available techniques, those that best apply in a particular competitive market and environment.

This course is the English version of GSO-6005 Opérations. Only one of those two courses will be accepted. The student is allowed to take assignments and exams in French. This course is offered in distance learning, asynchronous, delivery mode, with no set schedule. Optional synchronous sessions may take place during the semester. Class recordings are usually made available for replay. Details of the recordings per class are indicated in the course outline. If proctored exams are planned for this course, they require physical presence on campus or at one of the off-campus exam centres. They are held evenings and weekends and, where applicable, may therefore be held at times other than the scheduled synchronous class times.
