Organizational Behaviour

Description
This course intends to make the student aware of the importance of the human factors in the management of organizations and to make them familiar with the fundamental concepts of organizational behaviour such as, perception, motivation, group dynamics, communication, power, leadership, organizational culture, organizational development, career planning and stress. The course uses a multidisciplinary perspective and looks at the many levels of analysis from the individual, group or organizational point of view.

This course is the english version of MNG-1001 Comportement organisationnel. Only one of these two courses will be recognized in a student's program. This course, given in hybrid delivery mode, combines varying proportions of classes offered in the physical presence of the student and teacher and synchronous or asynchronous online classes, according to a predetermined schedule. In-person classes are not recorded. Where synchronous online courses take place, the recording procedures are indicated in the course outline. If proctored exams are planned for this course, they will take place on campus only and may be held at times other than the scheduled class times, including evenings and weekends.
