Description

This is a course in probability and statistics designed for students in the Bachelor of Business Administration program and other related programs. No background on probability or statistics is assumed. We discuss probability theory, descriptive statistics and statistical inference. The topics covered are: descriptive statistics, random variables, discrete and continuous probability distributions, sampling distributions, estimation, hypothesis testing, correlation and simple linear regression. Microsoft Excel is used throughout the course.
