International Marketing Management

Description
This course aims at introducing the particularities of International Marketing Management, familiarizing the student with the strategic dimensions that make up the decisions concerning the presence of products and services in foreign markets. This course also intends to make students capable of participating in the creation of a marketing plan adapted to international conditions. The teaching approach will use presentations by the professor and the students, debates, and case studies. The students will have to complete an international marketing plan by the end of the semester.

This course is the English version of MRK-6088 Planification du marketing international and GIE-6080 Gestion du marketing international. Only one of the three courses will be accepted in your program. To be allowed to register to this course, you must have already succeeded : MRK-6004 Marketing or MRK-6003 Marketing. This course is offered in in-person delivery mode where classes are offered in the physical presence of the student and teacher, according to a pre-determined schedule. On-campus presence is required. Classes are not recorded. If proctored exams are planned for this course, they will take place on campus only and may be held at times other than the scheduled class times, including evenings and weekends.

This course is the English version of MRK-6088 Planification du marketing international and GIE-6080 Gestion du marketing international. Only one of the three courses will be accepted in your program. To be allowed to register to this course, you must have already succeeded : MRK-6004 Marketing or MRK-6003 Marketing. This course, given in hybrid delivery mode, combines varying proportions of classes offered in the physical presence of the student and teacher and synchronous or asynchronous online classes, according to a predetermined schedule. In-person classes are not recorded. Where synchronous online courses take place, the recording procedures are indicated in the course outline. If proctored exams are planned for this course, they will take place on campus only and may be held at times other than the scheduled class times, including evenings and weekends.
