Authors are invited to submit original unpublished manuscripts covering topics related to business, entrepreneurship and governance in Africa. Submitted papers may cover a single country, comparisons between various countries, as well as transborder business or entrepreneurship. Case studies are also welcome.
Papers drafted in English or French will be considered for presentation.

All abstracts and papers will be reviewed by at least one referee before being accepted for the Conference. By submitting an abstract or a paper, you agree that you, or one of your co-authors, will present your paper at the Conference.

Authors must submit their abstracts or papers no later than January, 31 2021.

Authors will be notified of the Organizing Committee’s decision by mid-February 2021.

To be included in the Conference program, your full paper must be submitted no later than April 5, 2021.

The best papers will receive an excellence award and selected papers will be published in Transnational Corporations Review (TNCR).

Students are also encouraged to submit papers to the conference. Four students will each be awarded a prize of US$250 for their papers, based on their scholarly/practical contributions to the ABERS’ knowledge base. These prizes are sponsored by Virginia Commonwealth University’s Center for International Business Advancement. Students submitting papers should indicate the institution (university/college) in which they are currently enrolled.
