Universal access to care, controlling costs, improving the quality and efficiency of care and services – those are some of the challenges facing our health care system today. This DESS provides practitioners and health care establishment managers with the tools they need to face current and future changes.
In Brief
This program will enable you to develop your management skills. You will have the skill set to manage human, material and financial resources as well as more advanced knowledge of health care management. You will thus be better equipped to make effective decisions in a changing health care system.
- Certain courses given in hybrid delivery mode: a very flexible formula that combines the advantages of in-class and online teaching. In-class meetings are held once a month or every two weeks, depending on the course’s pedagogical approach.
- Full-time or part-time: you’re the one who decides on the pace of your progress in the program.

General Objectives
- Acquire and become proficient in the use of knowledge specific to the management of health care services.
- Acquire the vocabulary specific to the administrative sciences, more particularly as it relates to health care services management, in order to communicate effectively.
- Develop professional skills and competencies.

- Learn to use effective and results-oriented management tools to make complex business decisions.
- Learn to face multiple and complex challenges in a changing health care system.
- Learn to act in an ethical and socially responsible manner by implementing the best conditions under which to undertake projects for the benefit of the organization and society.
