Stephan A. The slowdown in economic growth, considered by many as a &#8220;new norm&#8221;, important change in global economic structure, development of free trade agreements of the new generation, growing social protest, adoption of major programs for sustainable development, digital revolution, etc. are all the factors that disrupt business environment, thereby creating huge opportunities as well as major challenges for companies. Being the engine of innovation and job creation, SMEs and entrepreneurs, more than ever before, are challenged to internationalize in order to better exploit new markets and develop new competencies. It is clear that the challenges of globalization are not just limited to how to conquer foreign markets. Thus, for SMEs that decide to venture within domestic markets, being able to effectively and ethically exploit resources from international markets, and to take a stand in the light of new domestic and international factors becomes new strategic imperatives.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Researchers, entrepreneurs, teachers, administrators, students, policy makers and all other persons interested in promoting SMEs and entrepreneurship are invited to participate in this great gathering. He has conceived, designed, and overseen the implementation of many new innovative programs, and his work has won numerous awards.&nbsp;Prior to joining MIT, Mr. Bill Aulet had a 25-year track record of success in business. She teaches entrepreneurship at the MBA and executive levels. He holds a PhD in administration (marketing) from the Universit\u00e9 de Grenoble and a post-doc in innovation from MIT. Jean-Francois is equally a manager and communicator, a cognate entrepreneur with passion for marketing and growth. He loves challenges and gathering experiences while stressing the need to get out of one\u2019s comfort zone. Lewis Clinical Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship and Director of the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies. He oversees the teaching and outreach programs of the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at UNC Kenan-Flagler.<\/p>\r\n<p>His research focuses on the role and structure of entrepreneurial networks and the interrelationships with investor syndicates.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-style-group-notif-red is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Important notice concerning entry requirement in Canada<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>New entry requirement are now in effect in Canada.
