The Faculty, the Department of Finance, Insurance and Real Estate and the Carmand-Normand and Jean-Turmel Trading Rooms wish to warmly congratulate\u00a0<strong>L\u00e9a Capobianco<\/strong>\u00a0(MBA Finance),\u00a0<strong>Pierre-Yves Gendron<\/strong>\u00a0(M.Sc. Finance) and\u00a0<strong>Gabriel Boivin<\/strong>\u00a0(M.Sc. Financial Engineering), who took 2nd place.<\/p>\n<p>This year, 90 teams from 75 universities participated in the 1st round. Only the top 25 were invited to Montr\u00e9al to take part in the two final rounds. Among the 4\u00a0FSA ULaval teams to participate in the 1st round, one made it to the competition in Montr\u00e9al. The FSA ULaval team, with the coaching and assistance of Christian Boutet and David Bouchard, came in 2nd, just ahead of the University of Connecticut and behind the University of Calgary.<\/p>\n<p>L\u00e9a, Pierre-Yves and Gabriel were awarded a $10,000 prize in recognition of their efforts.
