Held for the very first time on North American soil, this conference brought together researchers mainly from Europe, but also from North America, Asia and Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first day was dedicated to doctoral students, who were given the opportunity to present their research projects as part of the &#8220;Ph.D. Workshop.&#8221; Several lectures were<br> subsequently featured in the second part of this gathering.
