His nomination was announced in May 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Management Committee will see new faces coming in to support Mr. Pons as he embarks on his 4-year term. The renewed team aims to be representative and engaged, combining both novelty and experience. Margaret Shomaker and Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Forgues are both back on board after serving during the previous term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Members of the Management Committee<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Dean:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fsa.ulaval.ca\/personnel-expert\/98\/\">Frank Pons<\/a><\/li><li>Vice Dean of Academics, Student Affairs and International Accreditations:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fsa.ulaval.ca\/personnel-expert\/219\/\">Margaret Schomaker<\/a><\/li><li>Vice Dean of Research and Innovation:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fsa.ulaval.ca\/personnel-expert\/199\/\">Josianne Marsan<\/a><\/li><li>Director of International Relations and Acting Secretary: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fsa.ulaval.ca\/personnel-expert\/245\/\">Gustavo Birollo<\/a><\/li><li>Executive Director: Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Forgues<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You will find a presentation of the new members below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new management team would like to pay tribute to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fsa.ulaval.ca\/personnel-expert\/18\/\">Michel Gendron<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fsa.ulaval.ca\/personnel-expert\/jacques-renaud\/\">Jacques Renaud<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fsa.ulaval.ca\/personnel-expert\/123\/\">Issouf Soumar\u00e9<\/a>&nbsp;for their dedication to FSA ULaval\u2019s management and thank them for all they have accomplished over the last 8 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preparing for tomorrow, starting today<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In the short term, the management team will focus its efforts on minimizing the consequences of COVID-19 on academics, research and student services. It will also provide all the support every team at the Faculty needs to ensure the fall semester runs smoothly.
