The reason: the 2023 edition of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/happeningmarketing.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Happening Marketing<\/a>, the largest marketing competition in Eastern Canada, of which the Faculty was the host. The local team did much more than host: it won the competition!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The FSA ULaval delegation made its mark with its consistent performance, achieving 6 podium finishes out of the 8 academic categories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Experiential Marketing: 1st place<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Surprise Case: 2nd place<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strategic Marketing: 2nd place<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contract: 3rd place<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Digital Marketing: 3rd place<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quiz: 3rd place<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This outstanding academic performance was rounded out by 3rd place finishes in the social and contribution components, which meant that FSA ULaval was able to shine in all of the competition\u2019s components. In addition, Alex Richard, a student in the Bachelor of Business Administration program, was named Volunteer of the Year at the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Congratulations to all of the delegation members final of 4 major competitions organized by the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.refaec.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Regroupement \u00e9tudiant des facult\u00e9s d\u2019administration de l\u2019Est du Canada<\/a>\u00a0(R\u00c9FAEC) for the Fall 2022-Winter 2023 block.
