If you take fewer than 12 credits, you are considered a part-time student.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Choose the status that satisfies the requirements of your situation (immigration conditions, loans and scholarships, access to student residences, personal insurance, etc.).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You must enrol in at least 1 course in the first semester in your program. Otherwise, your file will become inactive and you will have to submit a new admission application.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-style-group-notif-red is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p><strong>Are you an international student?<\/strong>\u202fYou are required to be a full-time student in every fall and winter semester (summer semesters are optional and part-time status is authorized). No information is given regarding your place on the waiting list and you are not guaranteed a place before the start of the semester.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When a course section is full, you usually have the option of putting your name on a waiting list, as well as for several other sections of the same course.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When a place frees up, it is assigned according to the following principles:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you have not reached the maximum number of credits allowed at enrolment, you will be given a place in a section for which you are on a waiting list;\u202f<strong>your name will be withdrawn from the waiting lists<\/strong>\u202ffor any other sections of this course.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the place you are given creates a scheduling conflict with a course already in your schedule,<strong>\u202fyou will be enrolled despite that conflict<\/strong>; you will therefore be responsible for managing that conflict.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-style-group-notif-red is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p>In the event that a place becomes available for you, you will receive an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ene.ulaval.ca\/monportail-tableau-de-bord\/etudiants-consulter-et-gerer-mes-messages-importants\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">important message<\/a> (in French only) and an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ene.ulaval.ca\/monportail-profil-et-communications\/tous-les-utilisateurs-consulter-et-gerer-mes-courriels\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">email<\/a> (in French only) informing you that you are now enrolled in the course.
