Visit the page for the learning opportunity you\u2019re interested in to find out the specific requirements, including the required program average, eligible programs, number of completed credits required and any applicable language requirements.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"onglet_3\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"onglet_3_label\" class=\"tab-panel\"><button aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"onglet_3\" type=\"button\" class=\"tab-mobile-trigger\"><span class=\"tab-title\">How it works<\/span><\/button><div class=\"tab-inner\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-1-check-your-eligibility\">1. Check your eligibility<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Make sure you meet all the admission requirements listed on the page for the learning opportunity you\u2019re interested in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-submit-a-file-review-request\">2. Submit a file review request<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Submit a file review request from the page for the learning opportunity you\u2019re interested in. This will determine whether the learning opportunity can be credited toward your program of study and fits into your academic plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You must fill out the form during the designated application period. The form is available only during that period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may take part in up to two short-term international experiences (short study abroad stay or international experiential learning) during your program, providing your schedule allows it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under certain conditions, you can take part in an international experiential learning opportunity without it being credited toward your program of study. Uncredited learning opportunities are not eligible for mobility scholarships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-3-pay-the-participation-fee\">3. Pay the participation fee<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you have received the results of your file review, you must pay the $75 non-refundable participation fee to confirm that you are interested in taking part in the learning opportunity you selected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-4-get-your-confirmation\">4. Get your confirmation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The international relations development department (Service du d\u00e9veloppement et des relations internationales) will allocate the available spots. If the number of applications is greater than the number of spots available, priority will be given to the students who have the best averages and already meet the language requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Assignments are not first-come, first-served. For some learning opportunities, applications must be approved directly by the international partner or the academic lead responsible for the experience.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"onglet_4\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"onglet_4_label\" class=\"tab-panel\"><button aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"onglet_4\" type=\"button\" class=\"tab-mobile-trigger\"><span class=\"tab-title\">Budget and funding<\/span><\/button><div class=\"tab-inner\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n<p>Check the page for the learning opportunity you\u2019re interested in to learn about the specific costs and expenses you should plan for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your Universit\u00e9 Laval tuition is calculated based on your student status and the number of credits associated with the learning opportunity. It will be added to your invoice for the applicable semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-white-background-color has-background is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\" id=\"h-available-scholarships\">Available scholarships<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-style-column-frame-black is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ulaval-monde\">ULaval monde<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>ULaval monde offers $1,500 to $4,000 scholarships for international experiential learning opportunities of four weeks or more. For more information, see the admission requirements on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ulaval.ca\/international\/mobilite\/etudiants-ulaval\/projet-de-stage-ou-de-recherche\">ULaval monde website<\/a> (French only).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis until the funds allocated for the semester have been exhausted.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-style-column-frame-black is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-financial-support-from-lojiq\">Financial support from LOJIQ<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Les Offices jeunesse internationaux du Qu\u00e9bec (LOJIQ) offers financial support to students aged 18 to 35 who carry out a for-credit international project as part of their university studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This funding helps offset the travel-related costs of taking part in a university project, experiential learning opportunity or other activity recognized by the student\u2019s educational institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Depending on the activity\u2019s eligibility and the destination, financial support may include a contribution toward travel expenses as well as civil liability insurance for the duration of the activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For information about eligibility criteria, application periods and participation requirements, <a href=\"https:\/\/lojiq.org\/volets\/stages-et-projets-etudiants\/\">visit the LOJIQ website<\/a> (French only).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Go internationalwith FSA ULaval Turn your learning into hands-on experience around the world Want to have an international experience, but not in a traditional study abroad or internship program?
