Marketing Foundations

Description
This course introduces the fundamental concepts and tools inherent to marketing management. The course is structured around the analysis of the marketing environment (5Cs) and operational marketing (4Ps). Through case studies, the course enables the analysis and resolution of simple marketing problems.

This course is the English version of MRK-1001 - Environnement marketing. Only one of these two courses will be recognized in a student’s program. This course, given in hybrid delivery mode, combines varying proportions of classes offered in the physical presence of the student and teacher and synchronous or asynchronous online classes, according to a predetermined schedule. In-person classes are not recorded. Where synchronous online courses take place, the recording procedures are indicated in the course outline. If proctored exams are planned for this course, they will take place on campus only and may be held at times other than the scheduled class times, including evenings and weekends.
