Try these few tricks to solve UL or FSA ULaval webpage loading or display issues. This procedure applies to the following browsers:
- Chrome
- Edge
- Firefox
- Safari
Three steps to follow
- Clear the cache of your main browsers
NOTE – Make sure to delete your cache of “All time” or “All data” to resolve the issue - Restart the main browsers
- Change browsers
Caution!
- FSA ULaval is not responsible for links to external websites
- Do not click on the links in the website (ads)

A PIN (password) is required to access certain Université Laval resources, such as:
- Wi-Fi
- Course websites
- AnyConnect UL VPN
- library
If you have forgotten your PIN or never had one:
- Go to the Gestion du mot de passe page (in French only)
- Click on the “Réinitialiser” button, and follow the indications.
Good to know
- You will set your password as you fill out the form
- Follow the password composition rules
- Avoid special characters other than “!” or “$”
- Do not enter your last name, first name or IDUL in the password.
- You will receive an email confirmation once your new password has been activated
The IDUL is made up of 5 letters and generated from your first name and last name, usually followed by 1 to 3 digits.
To retrieve your IDUL:
- Go to the FSA ULaval password page: https://monportail.ulaval.ca/gestion-mot-de-passe/ (in French only)
- Click on the “Récupérer” option adjacent to “Vous avez oublié votre IDUL ?”
- Follow the indicated steps (in French only)
Your FSA ULaval password is required to access various FSA ULaval resources, such as:
- Clearvision simulations
- Arbre décisionnel simulations, etc.
To obtain your FSA ULaval password
- Go to Passe-partout FSA
- Click on Obtenir mon mot de passe FSA
- Enter your IDUL and click on Soumettre
- Sign into your ULaval email account. You will receive an email with a link
- Click on the link (valid for 15 minutes) in the email
- Enter your new password (follow the password composition rules as indicated) and click on Soumettre
Good to know
- When signing in with your FSA password, you MUST enter fsa\ (and not /) before your IDUL
- The FSA ULaval password is different from your ULaval PIN
