Aarhus School of Business

Denmark, a Scandinavian country with a population of around 5.8 million, is known for its egalitarian society and progressive welfare policies. It leads the world in renewable energy, particularly with its many offshore wind farms. Denmark is also famous for minimalist design, with iconic brands like Bang & Olufsen and Georg Jensen. Culturally, Billund is the birthplace of LEGO, while Kronborg Castle in Helsingør, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is one of the country's most significant historical landmarks.

Founded during the Viking era, Aarhus is one of country’s oldest cities. It boasts several historical sites such as the Aarhus Cathedral, established around 1200, and the Den Gamle By museum, a reconstruction of a 19th-century merchant town. Located on the east coast of Jutland, the city offers easy access to the sea, inviting leisurely strolls along the harbour and relaxation on its sandy beaches. The place is also home to numerous parks and gardens, including the Aarhus Botanical Garden situated in the heart of the city.

Established in 1939, Aarhus BSS is regarded as a prestigious institution, holding triple accreditation from AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS. This hallmark of superior quality in business education is held by only 1% of business schools worldwide. The school offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs in commerce, management, economics, and social sciences. It boasts a student body of over 14,000, including 2,000 international students, and many programs are taught in English.

Did you know that Aarhus is home to one of Europe’s longest pedestrian streets? Known as "Strøget," this bustling shopping street spans 1.1 kilometers and is lined with shops, cafes, and restaurants.
