This program provides you with the knowledge and skills you need to become an effective and responsible manager who can analyze project environments, determine the optimal conditions in which to implement them and ensure sustainable operation.
In Brief
This certificate immerses you deep into the heart of corporate project management, from development to closure, including planning, implementation, control and monitoring, based on the nature of the various projects and the context in which they are implemented, whether they are event-driven, international or technological. Since people are key to the success of any project, this program also enables you to develop personal, interpersonal and group management skills. Lastly this program prepares you for the Project Management Institute (PMI)® exams that lead to the following professional designations: Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® and Project Management Professional (PMP).®

Objectives
The general objective of this program is to provide students with knowledge and skills in a field related to their initial training by covering the principles, fundamental concepts and methods that are specific to project management.
More specifically, after completing the program, students can:
- develop, plan, carry out and close a project according to the traditional project management life cycle and conduct a post-project assessment, while adopting a responsible vision throughout the process;
- become familiar with other project management life cycles and be introduced to the agile life cycle;
- develop the human and interpersonal skills that are required in a project management context;
- understand the external and internal environments of organizations in order to adequately define, plan and carry out a project.
Continuance of Studies
The courses in the certificate program may be recognized, in whole or in part, if you continue your studies in the Multidisciplinary Bachelor’s (web page in French only) or Bachelor of Business Administration program (in French only) (excluding course number GSF-1500).

This program can be completed partly or entirely in distance learning delivery mode a formula that offers all the flexibility you need to reconcile studies with other aspects of your life. If you wish to follow this program entirely at distance, you will have to study on part-time basis only. Note, however, that some distance learning courses may require your online presence at specific times in some cases.
