Maîtrise en
administration des affaires - gestion stratégique de projets (M.B.A.)

Maîtrise en administration des affaires (M.B.A.)
Second Cycle

45 credits

In the last few decades, project management programs have used an approach focused primarily on the technical aspects of the various stages in a project’s life cycle, from planning to implementation. Although these elements are undeniably essential, project governance, the link between projects and an organization’s strategic planning, and a detailed analysis of the project environment deserve to be more extensively addressed, as they constitute the conditions for the success and sustainability of projects within organizations and society. This is what this MBA is all about.

In Brief

This MBA program differs from the other programs by emphasizing the strategic dimension of project management. It considers the complexity of the environments in which organizations evolve, and the importance of the human factor. These elements are added to the usual technical aspects to create a coherent whole, which serves as a guarantee of successful project implementation. With this approach, and the involvement of experts working in the field, this program highlights emerging trends and innovations in project management.

Overall, the MBA and professional master’s programs at the Faculty of Business Administration aim to help you build knowledge and develop your analytical and critical thinking skills to increase your ability to make complex business decisions. In addition to developing your management skills, these programs prepare you to work in a context of globalization. They also aim to train managers and analysts who are concerned about ethics, socially responsible and equipped with strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Certain courses given in hybrid delivery mode: a very flexible formula that combines the advantages of in-class and online teaching. In-class meetings are held once a month or every two weeks, depending on the course’s pedagogical approach.
  • Full-time or part-time: you’re the one who decides on the pace of your progress in the program.
