How do I sign into the wireless network?
- Connect to eduroam2 (Palasis-Prince pavilion) or eduroam (other pavilions)
- Sign in with:
- your user name: IDUL@ulaval.ca
- your password: PIN
- Click on Connect to accept the certificate
Having trouble with your wireless network connection?
Here are a few things to check:
1. Sign-in information
Be sure to enter your IDUL@ulaval.ca as your user name and not your @ULaval email address
2. Computer date and time
Given that this is a secure connection, the correct date, time and time zone must be selected: (UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (U.S. & Canada)
3. Restart the computer
A simple restart may solve the problem
4. Airplane mode off
If the airplane mode is on, wireless networks will not appear in the list. Make sure airplane mode is off.
5. Deleting the wireless profile
Windows 10 and 11
Right-click on the Start Menu
Select Settings
Click on Network & Internet
Click on Wi-Fi
Click on Manage known networks
Select the eduroam profile and click on Forget
Mac OS
Select Apple menu System Preferences, then click on Network
Select Wi-Fi from the list on the left
Click on Advanced
Select the eduroam network in Preferred Networks
Click on the button – then click on OK
Click on Apply
Try to reconnect

Université Laval offers a free Wi-Fi service (UL_Visiteur_Guest) to its visitors.
No user name
Valid for 2 weeks (renewable)
However, all members of the university community should use the eduroam wireless network instead.
