monPortail: your digital academic environment

Good to know

To help protect your information, multifactor authentication is required to access the various Université Laval applications and systems. For more information, refer to the Multifactor Authentication (MFA) page in the How-Tos & Tips section for the step-by-step configuration process.

Université Laval has created a digital environment for students called monPortail, which provides centralized access to various academic- and learning-related services and information.

Among other things, this platform gives you access:

course websites
various official documents and online services such as ID cards, enrolment attestations, OPUS public transit cards, self-serve printing, etc.
communcation and planning tools
important messages related to your studies

More specifically, your course websites allow you to carry out the following actions for both distance learning and in-person courses:

access documents provided by your teacher
participate in discussion forums with your classroom colleagues and your teacher
communicate with your classroom colleagues and your teacher via private messaging
do evaluations
submit assignments to your teacher
