Our bilateral exchange program is offered to students at one of our partner universities.

If your university has not entered into a partnership with the Faculty of Business Administration, you could still come study with us as part of our fee-paying exchange program.

Admission requirements

You must satisfy the conditions of your home university to participate in the bilateral exchange program.

For the fee-paying exchange program, you must satisfy the following conditions:

From France

For bachelor’s-level courses
  • Baccalauréat général, with a specialization in mathematics in the final year: at least 12/20 in mathematics and general average in the baccalauréat exam results
  • Baccalauréat général, without a specialization in mathematics in the final year or baccalauréat technologique: at least 13/20 in mathematics and general average in the baccalauréat exam results
  • University studies: general average of at least 12/20
For master’s level courses
  • Hold a licence diploma
    AND
  • Meet the admission requirements for bachelor’s level courses

Language requirements

French

Non-Francophone students

To enrol in business courses given in French, you must provide proof of French language proficiency. We accept the Test de français international (TFI 860), the Diplôme d’études de langue française (DELF) and the Test de connaissances du français (TCF C1), or any other official language test attesting to your knowledge and skills. This document must be provided when you submit your application or select your courses. Letters from faculty members or program directors will not be accepted.

Francophone students

If you have completed your elementary and secondary studies in French, you are not required to provide proof of French language proficiency.

English

The level of English language proficiency is determined in accordance with your university’s minimum requirements. Your university must ensure that you have the required English language skills; otherwise you are at risk of failing courses.

Tuition

If you are enrolling in the bilateral exchange program, tuition is payable to your home university.

If you are entering the fee-paying exchange program, tuition is payable to Université Laval or your home university, based on the agreement entered into between the two universities. Tuition is based on the number of credits you will be undertaking per semester. The fees vary according to your academic level and home country. To find out more, refer to the tuition page.

Depending on your situation, you will have to cover fees for health and hospitalization insurance as well as activities carried out as part of the French as a second language courses.
