More Than 250 Scholarships Awarded in the Fall 2022 and Winter 2023 Semesters

Highlighting excellence, promoting success, encouraging involvement, supporting the advancement of research… Receiving a scholarship is much more than financial support: it is a way to generate the effort required to shine and achieve one’s full potential. On April 28, more than 130 people came together at a scholarship award ceremony to congratulate the recipients of these honours, as well as to thank the individuals and organizations who made them available.

This year, 263 scholarships were awarded to the FSA ULaval student community, for a total value of just over $560,000. This number includes 62 scholarships worth a total of $140,500 that were given out to international students.

Every year, new individuals and organizations make the decision to donate, which allows us to meet the growing needs of our student community. This year is no exception, with the arrival of new partners, businesses and alumni who have made their first donation to the Faculty. It is important for me to point this out and welcome you to our broad family.

We are also honoured to have long-standing donors among us. It is a real privilege for FSA ULaval to be able to count on your unconditional support. Thanks to you, we can provide stability and recurrence in the scholarships made available to the next generations. Thank you for being with us and for having a lasting impact on the journeys of these youth that surround you.
