One More Title for FSA ULaval Delegations: The Happening Marketing

From March 24 to 26, FSA ULaval and the Université Laval campus welcomed nearly 550 individuals from 10 universities. The reason: the 2023 edition of the Happening Marketing, the largest marketing competition in Eastern Canada, of which the Faculty was the host. The local team did much more than host: it won the competition!

The FSA ULaval delegation made its mark with its consistent performance, achieving 6 podium finishes out of the 8 academic categories:

• Experiential Marketing: 1st place
• Surprise Case: 2nd place
• Strategic Marketing: 2nd place
• Contract: 3rd place
• Digital Marketing: 3rd place
• Quiz: 3rd place

This outstanding academic performance was rounded out by 3rd place finishes in the social and contribution components, which meant that FSA ULaval was able to shine in all of the competition’s components. In addition, Alex Richard, a student in the Bachelor of Business Administration program, was named Volunteer of the Year at the event.

An outstanding performance by FSA ULaval at the RÉFAEC competitions

The Happening Marketing was the final of 4 major competitions organized by the Regroupement étudiant des facultés d’administration de l’Est du Canada (RÉFAEC) for the Fall 2022-Winter 2023 block. With their first-place finishes at the Jeux du commerce (with a record score), the Financial Open (a first in the competition’s history) and the Happening Marketing, and a second-place finish at the HR Symposium, the FSA ULaval delegations have every reason to be proud of their performance.

Congratulations to the FSA ULaval Competition Committee (CCFSA), the members of all the delegations, and to the coaches for their outstanding performance that allowed the talent at FSA ULaval to shine and be a tremendous source of pride for our entire community.
