Further Recognition for Professors Courtois and Picard and Their Ethics Tool

On December 6, 2022, 8 members of the university community received a Teaching Excellence Award for the 2022 edition. This competition recognizes the outstanding contribution of professors, lecturers and practical instructors who enthusiastically share their passion and knowledge, in addition to contributing to the outreach of their faculty and Université Laval as a whole. It also highlights the excellence of their pedagogical practices as well as their engagement, creativity and sense of innovation, and the quality of the teams that support them in their pedagogical endeavours.

This year’s honourees included 2 professors from the School of Accounting: Claire-France Picard and Cynthia Courtois. They received their awards in the Pedagogical Resources category, in recognition of the pertinence and innovative nature of their tool to develop ethical thinking among the accountants of tomorrow. This is further recognition for these professors, who had already received 2 honours in recognition of their innovative tool.

Congratulations to Claire-France and Cynthia, and the technological and pedagogical services team at FSA ULaval which, through its human vision of educational practices and supervision, have once again demonstrated our leadership in pedagogical innovation.
