FSA ULaval at the 9th Colloque en développement international

Thursday March 4th, 2021

From February 8 to 12, 2021, more than 450 people took part in the 9th edition of the Colloque en développement international (international development symposium), the theme of which was to examine Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) from the standpoint of decolonization and systemic racism. FSA ULaval was once again a partner of this symposium, which is an opportunity to highlight the importance of international development.

One of the most popular activities among students in FSA ULaval international development and humanitarian action programs was the Carrefour de la coopération, where students could meet with more than 20 organizations involved in this field and which had internship and employment positions to fill.

This symposium was held as part of International Development Week, which is held every year in the first week of February, with the support of Global Affairs Canada, and aims to showcase the contribution of Canadian international solidarity organizations and their partners in southern countries.
