Promoting FSA ULaval’s Seals of Excellence

We often proudly mention that Université Laval’s Faculty of Business Administration ranks among the top 1% of the best business schools on the planet with its dual AACSB and EQUIS accreditations. In addition, FSA ULaval became a signatory member of PRME in 2018.

But what does that mean for the Faculty, in concrete terms? What does that mean for its community? To better understand the accreditation process and the daily impact of these seals of excellence at FSA ULaval, we offer you the following short video.

AACSB, EQUIS and PRME:
More Than Just Acronyms

FSA ULaval is proud to be part of a select group of business schools that hold the prestigious AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and EQUIS (European Foundation for Management Development) accreditations.

Received after a rigorous evaluation process carried out by an international community of universities and businesspeople, these accreditations are a signal of the highest international standards of excellence for a business school.

These accreditations guarantee the quality of our courses and research, recognize the quality of our faculty, in addition to adding international value to our diplomas. They ultimately promote our faculty on the international scene, with major employers and our global relationships and partners as well.

Granted to FSA ULaval in 1995 and 2008, respectively, AACSB and EQUIS accreditations are a guarantee of communities and living environments that are diverse, inclusive, and open to the world.

In 2018, as part of ongoing efforts to expand our quality standards, we went one step further: the Faculty became a signatory member of PRME, a United Nations-supported initiative to train tomorrow’s responsible management leaders.
