FSA ULaval Hosts Dominique Anglade

On October 22, as part of FSA ULaval’s Conversations with Leading Business Personalities, 8 Université Laval alumni had an opportunity to engage in a virtual face-to-face meeting with Ms. Dominique Anglade, leader of the Québec Liberal Party and Leader of the Official Opposition of Québec.

Eight alumni from a variety of fields were in attendance for this event: Sophie Beauchamp, Valérie Beaudoin, Marie-Pier Frenette, Lucie Forrat, Andrea Gomez, Yolande Kougioumoutzakis, Alexandre Saillant and Raphaëlle-Ann Samson.

Various topics were discussed, including:

• Obstacles encountered by women in the worlds of politics and economics
• The motivations that fuel her political engagement and her humanistic vision for Québec
• Environmental, social and economic issues
• The importance of supporting entrepreneurship
• Work-family balance with her 3 children
• The importance of addressing mental health issues
