Inspiring Meeting with Serge Godin

On Friday, October 30, 2020, Mr. Serge Godin, founder and Executive Chairman of the Board of CGI, engaged in a discussion with 6 FSA ULaval alumni who have become successful entrepreneurs in a variety of industries:

The celebrated businessman spoke of CGI’s culture, its values, human resources management, pitfalls to avoid and CGI’s acquisitions over the years, among other topics.

The informal meeting was held virtually, and the participants took advantage of this opportunity to ask Mr. Godin a number of questions. The exchanges were friendly and, above all, inspiring. Serge Godin founded CGI at the age of 26. Under his leadership, CGI has grown into one of the largest information technology (IT) and business consulting firms in the world. Mr. Godin was awarded an honorary doctorate in business administration from Université Laval. Known for his determination and effectiveness as a manager, Mr. Godin is also a philanthropist who supports many charitable organizations.
