Mélanie Roussy Heads the School of Accounting as of September 2022

FSA ULaval’s School of Accounting will be under new leadership as of September 1, 2022. Frank Pons, Dean of the Faculty, confirmed the appointment of Professor Mélanie Roussy as head of the School of Accounting. She is the successor to Jean-François Henri.

Mélanie Roussy holds a PhD in business administration, with an internal auditing specialization from the HEC Montréal, in addition to her BBA and MBA – Accounting Major from FSA ULaval.  As a member of the Centre d’expertise en gouvernance des sociétés (webpage in French only), she also serves as academic director for the microprogram in Internal Auditing, Risk Management and Control. Her vast experience at FSA ULaval and her extensive knowledge of accounting, governance and internal auditing will be major assets for the School of Accounting.

Professor Roussy will thus fill the position held by Jean-François Henri over the last 7 years. FSA ULaval would like to thank Professor Henri for his involvement in the success of the School of Accounting. Through his role as Director of the Centre d’expertise en gouvernance de sociétés and Full Professor from the Groupe de recherche en gestion des coûts et de la performance, there is no doubt that Jean-François Henri will continue to contribute to FSA ULaval’s outreach.
