Monique Leroux at the 15th Edition of FSA ULaval’s Conversations with Leading Business Personalities

Since the start of the Conversations with Leading Business Personalities in December 2020, 15 influential people have been heard by 85 FSA ULaval or Université Laval alumni. 

On January 28, 2022, it was the turn of Monique Leroux, President and Chief Executive Officer of Desjardins Group from 2008 to 2016, to answer FSA ULaval’s invitation. Another very interesting meeting!

The businesswoman, who now serves on a number of boards of directors, spoke with a cohort of businesspeople who graduated from FSA ULaval: Xavier Labelle, Isabelle Lechasseur, Marie-Elaine Lemieux, Isabelle Pascot, Vicky Poirier, Catherine Savoie and Michel Villa.

The topics discussed included:

• Personal balance and the mental health of managers
• The importance for businesses to incorporate ambitious environmental and social goals into their actions
• Management and exit strategies for complex crises
• The importance of community engagement for managers
