A New Deloitte Trading Room at FSA ULaval

On February 20, 2021, FSA ULaval inaugurated its new Deloitte trading room.

The freshly renovated facility is located in room 3324 at Pavillon Palasis-Prince. It is equipped with 13 new workstations that provide access to the most complete and often used databases in the fields of finance, insurance and real estate.

The event took place in the presence of three representatives from Deloitte, Alain Côté, retired partner; Marc Perron, FCPA, CA, Chief Client Officer; and René Forgues, CPA, CA, Lead Market Partner – Québec City.

For the occasion, FSA ULaval student Alex Henry and alumnus Laurence Patry spoke of the importance of this partnership and the influence these trading rooms have had on their academic and professional lives. 

This new room joins the existing  Carmand-Normand and Jean-Turmel trading rooms, which have recently celebrated their 15th anniversary. A total of 53 workstations in three rooms are now available to our students and professors.
