Research in Sustainable Mobility: FSA ULaval at Work in Trois-Rivières
Wednesday May 26th, 2021
The Ville de Trois-Rivières (in French only) has recently announced it would be upgrading 14 connected traffic lights in order to optimize mobility and reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from freight transportation.
This sustainable mobility pilot project is made possible thanks to the work of 2 research units from FSA ULaval: the Canada Research Chair in Integrated Logistics and the Centre d’innovation en logistique et chaîne d’approvisionnement durable (CILCAD) (Centre for Innovation in Sustainable Logistics and Supply Chains) (in French only).
This $400,000 project relies on the financial support of the Ministère de l’Environnement et de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques.
