Frank Pons Becomes the 14th Dean of FSA ULaval

On Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at a regular session meeting, Université Laval’s board of directors approved the nomination of Frank Pons as Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration. His 4-year term officially began on July 1, 2020 and will end on June 30, 2024.

With over 20 years of experience in the academic world, Frank Pons started his career as a senior lecturer before holding various professor positions at several universities around the world, including FSA ULaval for the last 13 years. More recently, he has served as the director of the Carré des affaires FSA ULaval-Banque Nationale and scientific director for the development of the partnership component at Université Laval.

Internationally recognized for his research in the field of marketing, he also heads the Observatoire international en management du sport, which brings the university community closer to the business of sports management through its various activities.

Highly skilled in explaining complex issues in simple terms, Frank Pons is a regular guest on local and international media to comment on various issues related to marketing and consumer behaviour.
